It was in 2005 that I discovered my passion for decoden. I have always acquired cute components and goods with no real rhyme or reason.

While living at home, I entered college in 2004 and it took me a year to get acclimated to that sort of life. I went to an all girl’s Catholic school so it was hard to adjust to making my own schedule, having a part time job for gas money and figuring out my wardrobe since I’ve spent my whole life wearing uniforms.

In 2005, I discovered Etsy and just started browsing like a maniac. I’ve always know about decoden, but I never thought I had the knack for it. It takes patience and a keen eye for composition for these things to turn out nicely. I also had this fear of supergluing something wrong and then never being able to use that piece again. Long story, sort of short, seeing other artists put themselves out there, I gave it a try and instantly became hooked.

Nearly 10 years later, I am here smiling and blogging 🙂
