Where This Happens

I’m from Michigan. I like that it’s shaped like a mitten. I like that I can drive wherever I want and get all four seasons, even if some of them overstay.

Most of what I make happens at home.

This started as something to relax me after work, and it stayed that way. I’ve never been the type to deco in public. No planes, no Starbucks. I don’t need a “studio.” I just need a surface and time.

I usually have something on in the background. Not movies. I’ll get too invested and stop working. TV series only. Something I’ve probably already seen.

It’s less about where I am and more about being able to sit, place things, and let it come together.
